Ok and now for the political fodder!!!!!! YEAH BUSH!!!!!!!
Yes I voted for Bush - so many see may see me merely as a greedy, killer republican who is more worried about keeping my cushy govt job just because I support Bush... Well I am scraping by paycheck to paycheck, robbing Peter to pay Paul some weeks so I am NOT rich, I AM educated, and I am not fat - yes I am white and yes I DO shop at Walmart but that isn't why I supported Bush, and the "cushy" govt job I have - after almost 16 yrs of hard work I still only make about 38K a year and the great benefits that I get I pay a good portion of - it's no different that alot of other jobs in the private sector, in fact it's grossly underpaid in comparison to the private sector but honestly there were many reasons for my choice....
HOWEVER I do have to say for those that seem to think that having BUSH in office for another term means 4 more years of war, higher taxes, etc... First of all did you REALLY think that if Kerry won they would be pulling the soldiers out of IRAQ and AFGANISTAN, etc overnight??? Even Kerry had admitted he would keeping the soldiers there and wanted to INCREASE the number of soldiers in the military.... Please try to remember what originally started all this war crap - 9/11/01 - and I am sorry but no matter how prepared we tried to be unless Osama or whomever had stood in front of us and specifically said "On Sept 11, 01 at precisely 8:46 am we are gonna slam a hijacked commercial plane in to the WTC" there is NO WAY that we could have been prevented that horrible horrible day... And you can' t fully blame Bush - I mean some of the intelligence and info was gathered during Clinton and even farther back.... Come on people stop looking to blame someone the ONLY one to blame is the one that who attacked us...
Second - Bush LOWERED our taxes AND has fought to keep them low --- and can you honestly say that Kerry's plan to raise the taxes on that 1-2% making 150-220K wasn't gonna some way roll down and affect us all??? And you HAVE to give Bush credit he made a choice based on the info he had at the time and regardless of whether it ended up being the proper popular or right decision he has stood by it!! Lastly - just my opinion but how many candidates REALLY uphold their campaign promises??? Somehow I don't see private social security coming to fruition... Hey, this is just my opinion so please don't flame me....
Either way the majority has spoken and that's how this country is run.... Yes, your voted counted - look how close the race was.... But either way we all live in the same country and we all pretty much want the same things so why not work together and definately let your representatives know WHAT you want - you put them there - make them work for you.....

NOW the real reason I voted for Bush??? Deven told me to - his opinion was "DUH MOM!!! Busch (Bush) Nascar Series - George W. Bush" *L* Now how can you argue w/logic like that????

Ok - first the update.... The boys are doing ok.... Dilen lost another tooth about 2 wks ago so he's looking adorable w/his two front bottom teeth gone and only one about 1/3 grown back.... Deven is doing very well in school - when he goes - we have had a few day were he has fought me on going.... They had a blast on Halloween and I think we got about 20 lbs of candy btwn the 2 of them - I think if we give them each one pc a day we can cover almost 18 months....
The pg is going well - I am now in my 15th week and essentially out of the danger zone although I still worry... I did go for an appt Monday because I have had a headache I can't shake and I was worried about my protein/blood pressure.... They squeezed me in.... My bp was fine - a TEENY TEENY bit high but fine - no one said a thing about protein or sugar but I am sure it was up a teeny bit AND I lost another 1.5 lbs or so.... Doc checked me over for ears, nose, throat, etc.... said I didn't sound/seem congested so it is probably just migraines aggrevated by the pg and gave me migraine meds... I then got to hear the hb on the doppler.... Sounded great!!! My next appt is next Friday and I am a bit more relaxed but will worried.... I am told I will worry til I hold the babe..... *sigh*
